Depending on the version, output ranges from 291 hp to 402 hp and up to 767 hp, while maximum torque can reach 802 Nm.
The published range figures stand at approximately 570, 820 and 720 kilometers, depending on the selected configuration.
Performance also varies significantly between versions. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h can take around 5.6 seconds, 4.6 seconds or as little as 2.8 seconds in the highest-performance configuration.
The IM5 is offered with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, while its suspension setup combines MacPherson struts at the front with a multi-link rear suspension.
The sedan measures approximately 4.93 meters in length, with a wheelbase of around 2.95 meters, giving it a substantial footprint in the premium sedan segment.
A Digital Cabin at the Center of the Experience
Technology is one of the key selling points of the IM5.
The vehicle features a large 26.3-inch central display, accompanied by a digital instrument cluster. It can also be equipped with a 540-degree camera system and a range of driver-assistance technologies.
Safety equipment includes electronic stability control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning and six airbags.
A panoramic roof and wheels measuring up to 20 inches are also available depending on the configuration.
The approach reflects IM Motors’ broader philosophy of turning the cabin into a digital environment rather than treating technology as a secondary feature.
IM6 Targets the Electric SUV Market
The IM6 extends the brand into the premium electric SUV segment, targeting customers who want a larger and more versatile vehicle without sacrificing performance or technology.
Prices start at approximately EGP 2.225 million and rise to around EGP 2.575 million.
The model can be equipped with battery capacities of up to 100 kWh, while one of the available configurations produces approximately 407 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
The published range reaches around 625 kilometers in one configuration, with the vehicle using advanced electric propulsion systems.
The IM6 enters a rapidly expanding segment in Egypt, where premium electric SUVs from Chinese and global manufacturers are becoming increasingly visible.
LS7 Raises the Luxury Level
The IM LS7 occupies a higher position within the brand’s SUV portfolio.
Priced at approximately EGP 2.925 million in its listed configuration, the LS7 uses a 100 kWh battery and produces 570 hp with maximum torque of 725 Nm.
The SUV can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in approximately 4.5 seconds, while its claimed driving range reaches around 625 kilometers.
It also uses all-wheel drive, giving it a strong performance-oriented character.
The LS7 measures approximately 5.05 meters in length, around 2 meters in width and 3.06 meters in wheelbase, providing a spacious footprint and a commanding road presence.
Equipment includes a 540-degree camera system, six airbags, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, a panoramic roof and a large 26.3-inch central display.
LS9 Expands the Premium Portfolio
The IM LS9 takes the brand further into the large luxury SUV segment.
With prices ranging from approximately EGP 3.5 million to EGP 3.6 million, it currently represents the most expensive model in the brand’s Egyptian lineup.
The LS9 gives IM Motors an opportunity to compete for customers seeking a larger premium vehicle with advanced electrification and extensive technology.
Its presence also demonstrates the company’s intention to compete across multiple premium vehicle segments rather than focusing exclusively on compact or midsize electric models.
Artificial Intelligence Becomes Part of the Vehicle
One of IM Motors’ most distinctive characteristics is its focus on software and artificial intelligence.
The brand uses advanced computing platforms from companies such as NVIDIA and Qualcomm to support digital vehicle functions and driver-assistance technologies.
Some models also feature a panoramic interactive display measuring up to 41.8 inches, creating a highly digital cabin environment.
Technologies such as the AI Chauffeur system are designed to enhance driver assistance and interaction, while additional intelligent systems are intended to improve visibility, safety and convenience under different driving conditions. )
Performance Beyond Efficiency
IM Motors is also using performance as a major differentiator.
According to the brand’s published information, one of its models can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in approximately 2.74 seconds, while top speed can reach 305 km/h.
These figures place the brand in direct competition with high-performance vehicles, demonstrating that electric mobility can deliver not only efficiency and long range but also sports-car levels of acceleration.
The company also emphasizes advanced chassis technologies and intelligent vehicle-control systems designed to improve stability, maneuverability and overall driving dynamics.
Warranty and Ownership Confidence
Warranty coverage remains particularly important in the electric vehicle segment, where battery technology represents a major component of the vehicle’s overall value.
The locally listed models are offered with warranty coverage of up to seven years or 200,000 kilometers for the vehicle and battery, depending on the applicable model and local specifications.
Such coverage can play an important role in strengthening consumer confidence, particularly as Egyptian buyers become more familiar with electric vehicles and their long-term ownership requirements.
IM Motors Price Range in Egypt
The brand’s premium positioning is clearly reflected in its current pricing structure.
The IM5 starts at approximately EGP 2.02 million, while the IM6 starts at around EGP 2.22 million. The LS7 is positioned at approximately EGP 2.92 million, while the LS9 reaches between EGP 3.5 million and EGP 3.6 million.
This gives IM Motors a relatively broad presence within Egypt’s premium electric vehicle market, with significant differences in size, performance and equipment between its models.
Competition Is Moving Toward Intelligent Mobility
IM Motors enters Egypt at a time when competition in the electric vehicle market is intensifying.
Chinese brands are expanding their presence, while established global manufacturers are introducing new electric and hybrid models.
In this environment, price alone is unlikely to determine success in the premium segment. Customers are increasingly comparing vehicles based on driving range, charging capabilities, performance, safety technology, cabin quality, software and after-sales support.
IM Motors has a potential advantage because its products were developed from the outset around the concept of intelligent electric mobility rather than simply converting conventional vehicles to electric propulsion.
IM Motors enters the Egyptian market with an ambitious strategy built around premium electric mobility, high performance and advanced digital technology.
Its current lineup includes the IM5, IM6, IM LS7 and IM LS9, covering sedan and SUV segments, with prices ranging from roughly EGP 2 million to EGP 3.6 million.
The IM5 stands out through its wide range of powertrain options and high-performance versions, while the IM6 targets premium SUV buyers. The LS7 and LS9 move further toward larger, more luxurious and technologically advanced vehicles.
As Egypt’s electric vehicle market continues to expand, the key challenge for IM Motors will be translating its technological advantages and impressive performance figures into sustained consumer demand.
Long-term success will ultimately depend not only on the vehicles themselves, but also on customer confidence, charging infrastructure, after-sales services, spare-parts availability and the brand’s ability to establish a strong position in Egypt’s increasingly competitive premium EV market.
